Eryx whitakeri is a non-venomous boa species found in coastal southern India. Named in honor of Romulus Whitaker. No subspecies are currently recognized.[2]

Geographic range

Found in southwestern coastal India in the states of Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, and southern Maharashtra. The type locality given is "Mangalore, Karnataka State, India."[1]
